Dig in the Dirt

Members who participate in this activity:
1) Help to create a love of gardening and interest in the growing of vegetables, flowers and herbs to all the school children and to our Bloomer members who volunteer.

2) Work during/after school with the 5th graders in the garden club and truly “dig in the dirt” planting and harvesting vegetables.
​
3) Tend the garden throughout the year working with Bloomer volunteers.
​
4) Create a safe, organic and fun garden for Bloomers and students alike. We work in coordination with the science teacher and the school district's Twig science program. The location of this activity is at the Tassajara Hills Elementary School in Danville.
