Community Beautification Project

This activity involves working with the Blackhawk Home Owners Association and the Blackhawk Country Club in locating areas within our community to create (quasi) “Daffodil Hills”. The yellow flowers bring happiness and smiles to our residents and visitors. We have currently planted many locations totaling over 3,000 bulbs.
Blackhawk Bloomers daffodil hill volunteers were awarded the community volunteer award by the Blackhawk HOA, for outstanding continued volunteer work in our community!
Daffodils are perennials and will be enjoyed year after year. We plant the daffodil bulbs in the late fall and volunteers are needed for planting in a predetermined location.
