Blackhawk Bloomers Garden Club

The Blackhawk Bloomers Garden Club is a gardening club for those who live in Blackhawk or belong to the Blackhawk Country Club to share a love of flowers and all things gardening. We enjoy monthly meetings featuring luncheon programs at the Blackhawk Country Club alternating with bus trips to area attractions. Member socials have made meeting new friends easier and also informative in seeing what grows in fellow members gardens!

Floral Design Committee

Chairperson — Susi Cherry

The Floral Design Committee is responsible for coordinating the centerpieces and table décor for the Bloomers Luncheons, Our Garden Tour and other floral needs that develop.

Susi Cherry, our creative head of the floral design committee, is looking for volunteers to assist making the beautiful floral centerpieces for our luncheon tables. This is a fun way to volunteer your time, learn something new and meet new friends.

The members of this committee either work as a team, or individually to create beautiful tables to coordinate with the monthly speaker/topic.  The Floral Design Committee welcomes volunteers who would like to be an active member of the team and show their creative talents in creating table scapes and floral arrangements.
